PENSION
PROGRAM ENDOWMENT
This endowment provides financial support to the Conference
Board of Pensions to help our retired clergy in the area of
pension support and health care assistance in the Dakotas Annual
Conference.
MINISTERIAL
STUDENT AID ENDOWMENT
The cost of seminary education is great! Gifts to this endowment
provide vital support to persons seeking to provide pastoral
service in the Dakotas.
DAKOTA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY ENDOWMENT
The fund provides basic support to Dakota Wesleyan University,
as determined by the college.
DAKOTA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT
Funds are used for scholarships only. The funds provide much
needed support for DWU students.
MISSIONS ENDOWMENT (World, National, Conference)
This endowment provides donors an opportunity to provide an
on-going source of support for the mission of the Church. The
net income is made available to the Conference Board of Global
Ministries who determines the missions to be supported.
JENKINS LIVING CENTER ENDOWMENT
Jenkins is a full retirement and nursing health care facility.
Gifts to this endowment provide support for the special things
that are not covered through other means adding a feeling of
warmth and care to its ministry. It is located in Watertown, SD.
WESLEY ACRES RETIREMENT RESIDENCE ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this endowment provide support for the special things
that touch the lives of the residents and make it a church-related retirement home (Mitchell, SD).
SUNNYCREST VILLAGE ENDOWMENT
Sunnycrest Village, located in Sioux Falls, SD, to expand its
ministry to its residents. Gifts go to provide those things that
enhance to the worship, living, and spiritual
life of the community.
CONGREGATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this endowment provide resources for the development of
new churches and revitalization of existing churches within our
Annual Conference.
OPEN DOOR COMMUNITY CENTER ENDOWMENT
This fund helps children of all ages by providing day care,
after school care, and services to low income families on the
south side of Bismarck, ND.
DAKOTAS UNITED METHODIST CAMPS ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund allow the Conference Camping Committee to use
these resources anywhere within the camping program where they
might be needed.
NORTH DAKOTA CAMP ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund are used to support the facilities, work, and
ministry of camping in North Dakota.
SOUTH DAKOTA CAMP ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund are used to support the facilities, work, and
ministry of camping in South Dakota.
LAKE POINSETT CAMP ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund are used to support the facilities, work and
ministry of camping at the Lake Poinsett Camp site.
WESLEY ACRES CAMP ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund are used to support the facilities, work and
ministry of camping at the Wesley Acres Camp site.
STORM MOUNTAIN RETREAT CENTER ENDOWMENT
Gifts to this fund are used to support the facilities, work and
ministry of camping at the Storm Mountain Retreat Center
facility.
FOUNDATION’S PERMANENT ENDOWMENT
The basic fund for annual support to a variety of United
Methodist Ministries
of the Dakotas.
FOUNDATION’S OPERATIONAL ENDOWMENT
Enables the Foundation to have a stable, reliable source of
income for the future.
SDSU UNITED METHODIST CAMPUS MINISTRY — Brookings ENDOWMENT
Gifts designated to this endowment will be used to support the
ongoing and active witness of Christ on the Campus of South
Dakota State University in Brookings, SD.
